I finally got my first salary, the feeling is really good, now I can be at least "Financially" independent of my parents. It's an arabic society I'm living within, so it's a really great accomplishement to be self-dependent at 22.
I've finished the "Basic Course", which is a training course to introduce fresh graduating pilots to the world of Airline. I've taken many subjects: Aerodynamics, airframe, propulsion, weight and balance and the group whome I took the course with were supposed to take meteorology and navigation but the stupid people at the trainging facility were too dumb to plan a decent schedule, so they've put these 2 most important topics exactly before the final exam. I got and average of 87.5 and a final score of 82, which was really bad for me, since I could've scored much more, but I fooled around and I didn't study as I should have.
Funny thing is that I haven't studied hard almost all my life, I guess I'm lazy when it comes to spending hours sitting in a locked room and just reading and understanding a book. Don't get me wrong, I'm not stupid, at least that's what I'm told, I 've been in a school for gifted students and that was after a lucky attempt I did, you see I went to the university where they were conducting the acceptance test (an IQ test) without calling or even enrolling for it, and I had no ID but for some library card, and after all of this I've been accepted with the first batch.
Now I really need to focus, I had many missed chances, but this one is the big one. This is something I dreamed about as a kid, studied as a teen and now, I'm working it as a man. Being a pilot isn't simply just a career, it's a way of life.

What's really important!
I guess I don't have that much of expertise in life, but I'm certain that setting goals for yourself is among the most important issues you have to address as a human being. Wandering around cluelessly without having a plan and being confident that God will take care of everything isn't really as comfortable as it seems, for one thing, there's so much in life to leave unexplored.
It's now clear to me that I have to set several reasonable and achievable goals in my life, and those goals have to be accomplished within a predetermined time frame, I know I can multitask well, so I'm setting a few missions for myself to accomplish, one of these would be to get my driver's license, if things go well, I plan on getting it within this month, that would be of a high priority to me since I need to drive to work back and forth almost every day.
A second important goal is to finish reviewing my study material and figuring out a good schedule to make things more neat and organized, I shall keep in mind that I might be called at any time to start my training, so I'd better do that today or tomorrow at most.
The last goal I'm setting for myself for this phase of my life is to taking good care of myself, specifically phyisically, being who I am I never stopped to think about my looks, and in the line of work that I'll hopefully be entering soon, the looks almost favors you as your skills and hardwork. My hair would be an issue, I have to make it combable, and I might even get a hairdo. Though I have a slim body, but I need to buff up and get some muscles, I shall think of entering a gym with a friend some time soon.
